The Green Township Trustees, Ashland Co., Ohio will receive bids for the following road materials, the quantities of which are approximate and may vary more or less: 1,500 ton #8 Aggregate , F.O. B. and /or, 25,000 gallons MC3000 oil to be submitted: Price per gallon for a one pass application of both oil and stone hauled, spread and rolled Bids should be accompanied by an affidavit of non-delinquency of personal property taxes as well as a bid bond or certified check payable to the Green Township Trustees and equal to 10% of the bid. Should any bid be rejected, said check will be returned to the bidder and should any bid be accepted, said check will be returned upon proper application and/or securing of the material. All bids for applied materials should be accompanied by proof of insurance and a copy of the bidder s Workers Compensation Certificate. The successful bidder will also be expected to PAY PREVAILING WAGES and sign a contractor s agreement which includes a hold harmless clause. (Sample contract available from the fiscal officer upon request). The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, as well as waive any irregularities in favor of that bid which best fits the needs and proximity of this township.
