Site work for a water / sewer project in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work under this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the replacement of approximately 8,000 feet of cast iron water main on Washington Street, between Broad Street and Middle Street, in Weymouth, MA with new ductile iron main, including all services, valves, hydrants, and connections. Construction must be complete 180 calendar days from and including issuance of a Notice to Proceed, and/or receipt of fully executed contract, excluding final paving. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders, Section 00100 of the Specifications. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Weymouth. The Owner reserves the right to omit part or whole of any proposed work to be performed, as described in the Contract Documents, as may be required to maintain the total cost of work within available funds. Bidders must sign up and obtain bid documents from H2Olson Engineering, Inc. in order to receive any issued addenda, which must be acknowledged on the bid form to be submitted.
