Award amount is $620,893.73** For 2022 Capital Budget Road Resurfacing Project The work consists of 28,718 sy of HMA milling less than 3", 3,312 tons HMA pavement, 1,361 lf vertical concrete curb, 11 manhole casting/cover replacements, 13 manhole casting/cover resets, 30 reconstruct inlets, 26 bicycle safe grates, 25 curb piece, 50 lf combination concrete curb and gutter, 467 sy 4-inch concrete sidewalk, 90 sf guide signs with breakaway supports, and 27.9 sy detectable warning surfaces for handicap accessible ramps. 2. 2022 Curb and Sidewalk Program Part II- Reconstruction of Concrete Curbs and Sidewalks at Various Locations throughout the City, being approximately 350 linear feet of vertical concrete curb, 70 linear feet of combination concrete curb and gutter, 900 square yards of 4-inch concrete sidewalk and 64 square yards of 6-inch concrete sidewalk/apron. Bids must be submitted individually in a sealed envelope clearly marked per the contract listed above bearing the name and address of the Bidder on outside; addressed to the Purchasing Agent, City of Linden, City Hall, 301 N. Wood Avenue, Linden, New Jersey 07036, and be accompanied by a BID BOND or CERTIFIED CHECK made payable to the City of Linden, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid to secure performance. ALL BIDDERS shall conform to the intention and provisions of Affirmative Action in Public Contracts Laws of State of New Jersey R.S. 10:2-1 of 7/23/75, Assembly Bill No. 2227. BIDDERS are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids should it be in the interest of the City to do so.
