Gainesville Housing Authority is requesting proposals to remove kitchen and bath cabinet doors,
drawer faces and hardware and to furnish labor only to install new GHA furnished kitchen and bath
cabinet doors, drawer faces and hardware [hinges and pulls] for twenty-eight (28) occupied units
located at S.E. 25
th Terrace; Gainesville, FL (Exhibit A).
All work is to be performed in accordance with manufactures specifications, industry standards and
best work practices. All work is to be performed by skilled and qualified workmen in best practices
of the trade and in compliance with Building Regulations and or Government Laws, Statues and
Ordinances. Hours of work: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time excluding all
the GHA recognized Holidays.
Summary Scope of Work:
For each unit: Furnish labor to remove existing kitchen and bath cabinet doors, drawer
faces and hardware. There are seventeen (17) cabinet doors and four (4) drawers. All
material is to be properly removed and disposed.
For each unit: Furnish labor to install GHA furnished kitchen and bath cabinet doors,
drawer faces, cabinet door hinges and cabinet door and drawer pulls. There are seventeen
(17) cabinet doors and four (4) drawers.
Contractor is responsible for the removal of, and proper disposal of, all debris, packing
materials, etc.
Contractor is responsible for construction cleaning of work area.
