Renovation of a fire / police facility in Canandaigua, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Project not awarded, plan to rebid with a smaller scope. No set timeline for rebid at this time. The Fire Department is requesting a proposal from vendors to remove and replace seven (7) overhead garage bay doors, door operators, safety devices, and associated hardware. Vendors will purchase and install seven new (7) high-cycle, heavy use, overhead doors to include operators, and incidental hardware as well as controls. The selected vendor will work with the Department of Public Works (DPW), and Fire Chief as needed. Services to be performed include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, services, tasks, and incidental and customary work necessary to competently perform the installation. For the purchase and installation of seven (7) overhead doors and seven (7) electric garage door openers.
