The Department of Interior (DOI), Office of Facilities and Administrative Services (OFAS) is located in the Main Interior Building (MIB). OFAS is responsible for maintaining the Main Interior Buildings. OFAS anticipates yearly requirements to paint walls and ceilings in the MIB. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for the Painting at the Main Interior Building located at 1849 C Street, NW, Washington, DC 20240. Work includes, but is not limited to, general painting. Work shall be performed as designed in the resultant task orders and in accordance with the specifications and all applicable codes and standards This construction project is a competitive small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code for this solicitation is 238320, Painting and Wall Covering Contractors. The size standard is $19M. Estimated magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation will result in a Single Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that will establish Firm Fixed Price (FFP) based on square footage. Task orders will be issued as FFP. The established ceiling is $4,000,000. The minimum guarantee is $2,000.00. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. (b) An organized site visit has been scheduled for -April 11, 2023 @ 10:00 am Eastern Daylight Time (c) Participants will arrive at the C Street lobby and go through Security's visitor screening area to be issued a temporary pass. The guards in the lobby will be able to direct them to this area, and Bill Brannon will be waiting after the screening area, magnetometers.
