1. Removal: 300 Ton RTHB Water Cooled Screw Chiller Location: BC Children's and Woman's Health Center, Vancouver BC. Remove and disposal required for 300 Ton RTHB Water cooled Screw Chiller serial # U97F02701 Pull refrigerant from existing chiller Decommission, remove, and dispose existing chiller 2. Supply a 320 Ton Water Cooled Screw Chiller Location: BC Children's and Woman's Health Center, Vancouver BC. Supply a 320 Ton Water Cooled Chiller to replace removed Chiller; Basis of Design: Trane 320 Ton Model RTHD Chiller Requirements: BACnet MS/TP Compatible [controls integration] New chiller is to match or be less than the existing chillers' length of 146" and height of 78". The chiller must also be no greater than 68" wide accommodate space requirements. [compatibility with existing site] The chiller must have shell and tube style heat exchangers with a 3 pass evaporator and 2 pass condenser. [compatibility with existing site] The chillers' full load efficiency must be 0.552kW/ton or better at design conditions. [energy efficiency] Motor starter shall be factory mounted on the unit and shall be completely prewired to the compressor motor and chiller control panel [energy efficiency and requirements] Chiller must be capable of variable primary flow in the evaporator. The flow rate must change at a rate of up to 50% per minute [maintain compatibility with existing TGH system] Chiller to be wrapped in an opaque plastic wrap with UV protection and rust inhibitor around the entire unit [unit protection during transport Chiller must be able to meet project timeline of delivery to site in 16 weeks or less Chiller must be compatible with existing auxiliary equipment (pumps, controls, graphics, etc.) Pull required refrigeration permits Supply and install one (1) new 320 Ton RTHD Water-cooled Optimus Screw Chiller (rigging services included) Complete all piping connections to chiller Insulate new pipework as required Start-up chiller to ensure proper operation Mechanical / Refrigeration Installation Decommission, remove, and dispose existing chiller Provide necessary shop drawings of new chiller Pull required refrigeration permits Supply and install one (1) new 320 Ton RTHD Water-cooled Optimus Screw Chiller (rigging services included) Complete all piping connections to chiller Insulate new pipework as required Start-up chiller to ensure proper operation Electrical Installation Pull required electrical permit Lock-out-tag-out Disconnect existing electrical to chiller Hook up new chiller and extend wiring as required to suit new layout DDC / Controls Installation Disconnect existing control wiring Reconnect existing control wiring to chiller Verify operation and chiller visibility on control system.
