Renovation of a residential development in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
All work necessary and incidental thereto, in accordance with the Contract Documents, for the Generator Replacement project. Bids must be accompanied by a guarantee in the amount of 5% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond. Bids must be accompanied by consent of surety regardless of whether a check or Bid Bond is submitted. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond. All Bonds and consents of Surety must be written by Surety Companies listed in the most recent Circular No. 570 United States Department of the Treasury and licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that Bidders attend the Pre-Bid Conference for purposes of clarifying specific information concerning the project work, hearing other bidder's questions regarding various aspects of the Project and the answers thereto, and learning the manner of proper completion and submission of the Bid Documents to ensure a responsive Bid. The Authority reserves the unqualified right to waive any informalities in bids and to reject any and all bids if it is in the best interest of the Authority to do so. All technical questions, comments, and inquiries should be directed in writing to Coppa Montalbano Architects, via Fax 973-890-8855 or email jmolina@coppamontalbano.com . Written replies to any such questions will be provided to all potential offerors. No oral responses regarding technical questions or interpretations of the specifications will be provided. Addendum if applicable will be issued on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Bidders must be fully licensed, certified, and insured to perform all of the work required under the Contract Documents and must be authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Any Bidder that is a corporation not chartered under the laws of the State of New Jersey must submit an affidavit certifying that said corporation is authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bidders must be registered with the Department of Labor and are required to comply with the requirements of Public Law 1999, c.238, "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act", which became effective on April 11, 2000. Bidders, their subcontractors and suppliers, must comply with the New Jersey Business Registration requirements. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Public Law 1975, c. 127 and the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. which pertain to "Non-Discrimination" and "Affirmative Actions" and with the requirements of Public Law 1977, c. 33, which requires a Statement of Corporate Ownership. The CD of the Contract documents will not be mailed.
