Sealed Bids will be received by the Chestnut Grove Recreation Authority for the CGRA Youth Sports Park East Park Construction Project. For the following project: CGRA Youth Sports Park East Park Construction Project Contract No. 1 General Construction Contract No. 2 Electrical Construction The CGRA Youth Sports Park East Park Construction Project will generally consist of athletic field construction, athletic field fencing, concrete pads/sidewalk/curb, building foundations, electrical distribution, and architectural finishes. Electrical Construction consists of power connections and power distribution systems for the athletic fields and support areas. CGRA requires the Project to be Substantially Complete in 120 calendar days from date of the Notice to Proceed. The Engineer is the Clinton County Engineering Department; telephone: (570) 893-4080, ext 1; attention: Steve Gibson. Bid Documents may be viewed at the County Engineer s Office or at the Wayne Township Landfill. All inquiries pertaining to the Bidding Documents shall be directed to the Engineer in writing via email (sgibson@clintoncountypa.gov). Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check in an amount no less than 10 percent of the Bid Sum. The Project is subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended. The project is funded through general funds of the CGRA, grant funding from Clinton County, and a Community Park and Recreation Grant from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid before the expiration of the 60 day period. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer inresponse to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
