Installation of Plank Flooring & Painting of Hallway & waiting Areas at Summit Senior Housing Q/A Cutoff Date: 03/15/2023 Q/A Cutoff Time: 03:00 PM EDT All questions or requests for clarification must be in writing, directed to the attention of Deborah O'Donnell, sent via email to dodonnell@thehacc.org HACC is requesting Contractors submit bids to furnish all labor necessary to make ready eight units at Summit Senior Housing, located at 7455 West 63rd Place, Summit, Illinois 60501. See Attachment A, for the scope of work for each unit. The Contractor, in its response to this Invitation for Bid, shall demonstrate to HACC how it proposes to offer all the rehabilitation services requested, incorporating the requirements listed. The successful contractor will provide all labor and material to renovate/"make ready" each unit based on the scope of work document enclosed. Drawings will not be issued for this work. Each contractor is strongly recommended to attend the project walkthrough, inspect the units, nd become familiar with the conditions, difficulties, and restrictions relating to the work to be performed. The contractor will provide all necessary supervision and coordinate the effort and sequencing to assure timely completion of the work based on the project schedule. Warranty -The contractor shall provide a standard full 1-year warranty. Coordination - It will be the contractor's responsibility to coordinate all work. The contractor will schedule regular coordination meeting with all parties. These meeting shall address scheduling as well as scope of work and existing condition clarifications. Issues caused due to lack of coordination by the contractor will be up to the contractor to resolve at no additional cost or extension of time to HACC. Schedule - The contractor will submit a schedule for each unit to HACC for review and approval prior to beginning construction. Upon approval the schedule will become an exhibit to the contract. The contractor is responsible to maintain the project schedule. No time extension will be granted to the schedule without prior written prior approval from HACC. Punchlist / Final Acceptance - Upon completion of each apartment a walkthrough with the HACC representative will occur making notes of any punchlist items. These items will then need to be corrected by the contractor in an expeditious manner. Once these items are corrected, the HACC representative will sign off on the apartment. This sign off will be considered the final acceptance. Any additional material that is needed for the punchlist will be the contractors responsibility to purchase, unless the material was not purchase prior.
