he County of Montgomery, Pennsylvania seeks competitive proposals to be delivered electronically to the County Purchasing Department for the following projects: SP 6499, Public Safety for Flooring in the 9-1-1 Emergency Center **Pre - Bid Question / Answer meeting (Mandatory, On-site), Montgomery County Emergency Center - 50 Eagleville Rd., Eagleville, PA 19403 The Montgomery County department of Public Safety is issuing this Specification (Spec) to solicit a qualified contractor for the purpose of removing existing carpet from the raised floor access panels, and to install new Static Smart carpet on existing tiles. In addition, there is also vinyl flooring installation for a kitchen area that is required. This work, without exception, must be done in coordination with operations of the 24 hour 9-1-1 Emergency Center. The Montgomery County Emergency Communications Center, located at 50 Eagleville Rd., Eagleville, PA 19403. Receives 9-1-1 and other emergency phone calls placed from locations within Montgomery County as well as non-emergency phone calls. The center provides call processing and dispatch services for 92 fire departments, 20 EMS squads, 50 police agencies, and other various County agencies 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
