Renovation of a transportation facility in Mirabel, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Transformer Station B is the main power supply for Mirabel Airport. This substation is supplied by two Hydro-Quebec lines at a voltage of 25 kV, the main line and the back-up line, and includes 5 S&S oil-filled circuit breakers installed in 1973. In 2013, following a problem with the operation of the circuit breakers and their obsolescence, an assessment of the situation was conducted and led ADM to use existing spare parts in the medium term to extend the life of the equipment.
