Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Galesburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Description of Work: The project consists of street reconstruction/streetscaping of Simmons St. from S Prairie St. to S Kellogg St. and Parking Lot H including storm new curb & gutter, sewer system, sidewalk, lighting, and streetscape amenities. The work also includes reconstructing the parking lot pavement, new lighting and streetscape amenities, and new canopy structures. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and Performance Bonds will be required for this project. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of City of Galesburg, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The City of Galesburg reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Galesburg for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
