DSA File No.: 50-C1 DSAAppl. No.: 02-120864 Any claim by a bidder of error in its bid must be made in compliance with section 5100 et seq. of the Public Contract Code. Any bid that is submitted after this time shall be non-responsive and returned to the bidder The engineer's estimate is $100,000.00 The project includes replacement of one (1) Owner Furnished Contractor Installed Baseball scoreboard replacement at the Modesto Junior College East Campus. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess at a minimum the following State of California Contractor License and Certification: A California Class "A" and/or "B" contractor's license is required to Bid this contract. The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. The successful Bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under the Contract, in accordance with the provisions of section 22300 of the Public Contract Code. The Contractor and all Subcontractors under the Contractor shall pay all workers on all work performed pursuant to this Contract not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to sections 1770 et seq. of the California Labor Code. Prevailing wage rates are also available from the District or on the Internet at: . If this Project is funded in whole or in part with State bond funds, the District and/or its designee will be operating a labor compliance program on this Project pursuant to Labor Code section 1771.7. On March 4, 2022, Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-6-22 (EO) regarding sanctions in response to Russia's actions in Ukraine. As a contractor with the Yosemite Community College District, compliance with this EO is required. This includes, but is not limited to, the federal executive orders identified in the EO, as well as the sanctions identified on the US Department of Treasury web site. Failure to comply may result in termination of the contract, as applicable. 22-12384 Project Manual CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS Division 00 This Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1771.4 and subject to the requirements of Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations. The Contractor and all Subcontractors under the Contractor shall furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner weekly or within (10) days of any request by the District or the Labor Commissioner. The successful bidder shall comply with all requirements of Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1, of the Labor Code. Pursuant to SB 854, no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for a public works project (awarded on or before April 1, 2015) unless registered with the DIR per California Labor Code section 1725.5. All participants are required to sign in. All participants shall meet in front of the Baseball Field on Coldwell Avenue. The pre-bid conference is expected to take approximately one hour. This conference is strongly recommended for all bidders but is not mandatory. Contract Documents are available for review and distribution by contacting at ARC (209) 524-2924 (Modesto or Stockton) or at website in the Public Plan Room THIS PROJECT CONSIST OF -SELECTIVE DEMOLITION OF EXISTING BASEBALL SCOREBOARD WITH STRUCTURAL COLUMNS TO REMAIN -ENGINEERING OF EXISTING STRUCTURAL COLUMNS TO SUPPORT THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW BASEBALL SCOREBOARD -INSTALLATION OF NEW BASEBALL SCOREBOARD -ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING AND COMMUNICATIONS FOR NEW BASEBALL SCOREBOARD The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The installation of Owner Furnished Contractor Installed Baseball Scoreboard and Sponsor panels. 2. Additionally, the Sitework General Contractor shall include the following: a. All required Trenching, Bedding, Backfilling, Electrical Conduits, Conductors, Pull Boxes, and Signal Cabling. b. Support Structure for the Scoreboard and Sponsor Panels including sheet metal backing, and horizontal tube steel frame. c. All labor, equipment and accessories indicated within the contract documents required to install the scoreboard to the supported structure. d. Off haul and disposal of all existing Baseball Scoreboard components not identified to be reused with the New Scoreboard. e. Landscape and irrigation improvements/modifications associated with restoration of the existing Baseball field and disturbed areas.
