Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Design plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and municipal facility.

The intent of this project is to complete the recommended repairs to the built-up roof and roof access ladder from the 2019 Tremco Roof Study attached as Appendix G. Repairs include the following: supply and install a restorative coating to extend the life of the roof membrane (3,654 SF); install sealant around mechanical equipment electrical wires at pitch pans; and install a restorative metal coating to the access ladder. All work is to be completed after regular business hours. OPS & OPP security clearance is required for all work on-site. 1095138 Exterior Window Renewal: The intent of this project is to replace the existing 21 exterior windows (To be replaced as inoperable windows) and tinted glazing as per OPP requirements (Blast Film) "3M Security Film Ultra-S800 Appendix J" and " 3M Ultra-S800-Specifications Appendix K" (Or approved alternate meeting these requirements). Consultant to identify the Blast Film costs separately (Separate line Item) at the 33% (PSIF as FFE if required). The work is to include repair and replacement of damaged brick and mortar joints around the windows, and replacement of all control and expansion joints around the building, complete with new windowsill flashing. All work is to be completed during regular business hours subsequent to OPP security clearance. A project specific DSS is required. All work is to be completed in accordance with the IO Building Design Guidelines and the OBC. Any moving of desks to be coordinated with OPP. Project responsible to move desks/furniture from windows. TIMELINE: An RFP for design has been awarded. Project is for 2 different locations, roof repairs & window replacements. NDA is required.
