As of April 12, 2023. The project has been awarded with the amount of $755,827.40. Work to be Done: The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to expand the front parking lot and resurface existing parking at Bonaire Middle School for the Houston County School District as shown on the plans. Construction shall consist of grading, curbing, storm drain, paving, and striping. All bidders shall provide their signed E-Verify affidavit with their bid. Bids will not be considered without the Contractor affidavit. The successful bidder is responsible for obtaining a signed E-verify affidavit from their Subcontractors and Sub- subcontractors. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. License: The Bidder shall hold a current Contractor's License issued by the Georgia State Construction Industry License Board Bonds: All bid bonds must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. This project will adhere to Houston County Specifications The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
