The purpose of this project is to hire a consultant team to work with the City of Norman Forestry Division to conduct a public tree inventory in the urban center of the city, including near streets, in parks, and other city-owned property. That inventory data will then be used to develop an Urban Forest Master Plan (UFMP) to help influence the development of the City of Norman’s urban forest through the next 25 years. A successful UFMP will maintain the unique character of the City of Norman while ensuring a sustainable and resilient future for its citizens. It is essential that the project provide the community with a cohesive and easy-tounderstand forestry development framework, in order to help guide the city to an equitable and sustainable future The City of Norman reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals.
