The scope of work to be included in the contract may include, but may not be limited to the following: 1. Runway 17/35 rehabilitation - Design, Bid 2. Runway 17/35 lighting rehabilitation - Design, Bid 3. Runway 17/35 rehabilitation - Construction 4. Runway 17/35 lighting rehabilitation - Construction 5. Airport Layout Plan Update 6. Taxiway A & B lighting rehabilitation - Design, Bid 7. Taxiway "A" rehabilitation - Design, Bid 8. Taxiway "A" rehabilitation - Construction 9. Taxiway A & B lighting rehabilitation - Construction The City of Orangeburg is requestng Statements of Qualifications and experience for professional airport engineering consultant services as may be requested by the City of Orangeburg in connection with proposed improvements at the Orangeburg Municipal Airport during a five-year period. Proposed work must be performed and completed in such a manner as to be eligible for federal and state aid funds. The airport is conduction an open engineering selection in accordance with the FAA Advisory Circular Guidelines. Please note this is NOT a request for a price proposal. Your submital should include actons which your firm may take in working with DBEs, WBE's, and MBEs. No elaborate special presentaton brochures are expected at this tme. An evaluaton of qualified firms will be undertaken following receipt submitals. It is the intent of the City to select a consultant as a result of this effort. The City of Orangeburg desires to select an engineering consultant for the purpose of engineering, design, and construction of aviation related projects of the Orangeburg Municipal Airport, such as indicated below. It is the intent of the City to enter into a multi-year Master Agreement with a consultant for a 5-year period during which some or all of the projects may be developed. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
