Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The scope of work includes but is not limited to, milling and resurfacing of various Borough asphalt and concrete roadways, including incidental base repair. Concrete work associated with the roadwork is included, i.e. curbing, sidewalk, curb cut ramps, striping. Storm and sanitary sewer maintenance including inlet and manhole rehab/replacement and main repairs/replacements, street laterals, traps, and associated roadway/sidewalk/curbing/non-roadway restoration is also included. Bids providing pricing for Lots 1 and/or 5 only will not be considered. Prevailing wages will apply if projects identified are in excess of $25,000 for storm and sanitary sewer repairs; and for over $100,000 for streets projects. The wage determination is included in the bid specifications. Bids must be purchased from the Borough in order for a bid to be considered. Each Borough Council shall consider award of individual contracts. The Borough Councils reserve the right to reject any bid and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder(s) whose services are judged to best meet the interest of the Borough. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities during evaluation of the bids and to make multiple contract awards, by Lot, if it is to the advantage of Council to do so. A certified check or bid bond shall be included with the bid for 10% of the following estimated Lot amounts: for Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 the contract amount is each estimated to be $25,000. Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8 are each estimated to be $100,000. Performance and Payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be required as work is identified. A two-year Maintenance Bond for 20% of the contract price will be required.
