The Town of Salem is seeking bids for screened winter sand for 2023. The Salem Highway Department is seeking bids to screen winter 3/8" minus about 10,000 yds. Specifications will be determined by the Highway Superintendent. 1. The Contractor will be required to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance & NYS Worker's Comp Insurance before the start of operations. 2. The Town will have an employee & loader at the pit to aid with finished product stocking. 3. The Contractor has to have all necessary machinery & manpower to produce the various products required by the Highway Superintendent. 4. Contractor must abide by all Mining Laws. 5. Work to be completed as soon as possible in the Spring of 2023. A non-collusive bidding form is required with the bid. PLEASE ALLOW AMPLE TIME FOR MAILING IN BIDS!
