The Trust for Governors Island is seeking a qualified Contractor to perform construction services to relocate utilities from the Western Development Zone (WDZ) as defined by Section 1B (Scope of Work) in the Request for Proposals (RFP). Two completion deadlines are requested for this work: August 31, 2023, and December 31, 2023. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is to procure a qualified Contractor to perform construction services to relocate the utilities in question as per the drawing and specifications defined by the engineer of record, Syska. These drawings (the "Project") are detailed in Syska's bid document set dated March 1, 2023. Construction firms who submit a proposal in response to this bid will hereafter be referred to as "Proposers." The successful Proposer will be referred to as the "Contractor". The Contractor will be responsible for: Obtaining all applicable permits Identification of the full scope of the project by examination of the contract documents, reference documents, and project site Complying with all terms of the contract documents. The target date for Final Completion is August 31, 2023. The alternative Final Completion date is December 31, 2023. Due to expected variations in costs of the differing timelines, Proposers will be required to submit a separate project schedule and fee proposal for EACH date of completion. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
