The bid number and bid title must be clearly marked on the outside of the packaging. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bank certified check or original bid bond in the amount of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars as bid security. New York State Department of Labor, Article 8 Prevailing Wage applies to this contract. All bidders must comply with the General Municipal Law, Sect. 103. The County of Rensselaer reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and to waive any informalities discovered herein. All inquiries regarding technical bid specifications should be directed to: Rensselaer County Highway Department, 124 Bloomingrove Drive, Troy, New York 12180 Office Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (EST). Main Office Phone Number: (518) 283-0973 CONTRACT PERIOD: The contract will be effective for a period starting on the date stated in the award letter and ending December 31, 2023. The contract may be extended upon mutual consent of both the County and the Contractor for a period ending December 31, 2024.
