HACP will consider award of approximately 200 units of housing under this solicitation to be awarded to the successful property owners and/or developers. HACP is undertaking this solicitation to expand the available housing choices for low and moderate income families in Pittsburgh; to spur development of quality housing in areas where HACP is planning or undertaking redevelopment, where quality housing affordable to such households is not readily available, in neighborhoods of opportunity, and to expand the availability of affordable, quality rental housing in a tightening local real estate rental market. The only assistance available and to be considered through this process is PBV assistance. Any other elements of a proposed project, such as use of HACP or other publicly or privately owned property, or a need for gap or other financing support beyond the project based voucher assistance, should be addressed separately from the proposals submitted in response to this RFP. There is no gap funding or other financing support available through this solicitation!
