Site work and paving for a road / highway in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposed improvement consists of milling, patching, and overlay HMA pavement on Nebraska Avenue between the I-74 bridge and University Street. Traffic management is required to accomplish the work. Necessary adjustments, incidentals and appurtenant items shall be constructed as directed by the City. All provisions regarding EEO, prevailing wage, certified payroll, and DBE and WBE requirements shall be strictly enforced. All work shall be in compliance with specifications and all state and federal laws and regulations. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
