Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
In general the work consists of the replacement of the 10 and 6 sanitary sewer that serves the Anderson 37 library first and second additions. The existing clay tile line would be replaced with a new PVC sanitary sewer 38 service with manholes for access to maintain and clean the line. The lateral would be relocated to avoid extensive 39 disruptions to Main Street, existing crosswalks, trees and a sidewalk staircase. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. DFD reserves the right to reject bids submitted electronically if a bidder uses a remote online notarization technology provider that has not been approved by DFI.
