Site work and paving for a road / highway in Downers Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work under this contract includes cleaning, filling and sealing pavement joints, pavement patching, pavement milling and overlaying, pavement marking for repair locations, ramp pavement and shoulder replacement, concrete barrier construction, toll plaza canopy removal, monotube installation, removal of toll plaza equipment, lighting installation, electrical work, landscaping, erosion and sediment control, maintenance of traffic and other miscellaneous work. Bidders may be required to be pre-qualified by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). Questions pertaining to the intent of the contract documents may be sent to the Illinois Tollway, attention 9242D.4881_Questions@docs.e-builder.net, to be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on March 28, 2023. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount shown in the bid for the contract. The Bid Guaranty shall be in the form of an acceptable bid bond or a bank draft, certified check or cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank made payable to the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority. Award of the above contract, if any award be made, will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder or bidders. The Illinois Tollway reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, or cancel the solicitation.
