For South Second Street Multimodal Improvements Project Question Deadline 04/18/2023 at 12:00 PM ET The Borough anticipates awarding the project at their borough council meeting on May 1, 2023. The completion date is October 15, 2023 per the MS 944. Each bidder is required to bid on the total project. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payable to "Emmaus Borough" in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The successful bidder shall provide a performance bond or certified check to the municipality in the amount of 100% of the contract within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Emmaus Borough hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
