The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, and insurances required to replace (with commercial grade) 1 existing commercial washing machine (cottage #2), 1 existing residential washing machine (cottage #3), 5 commercial clothes dryers (cottages 1, 2, 4, 5, & 6) and 1 residential clothes dryer (cottage #3) throughout 6 different buildings on the Potomac Center campus. The contractor shall also provide two (2) years of manufacturers preventative maintenance (P/M) services for the equipment installed under this contract. The facility requests to keep washers and dryers that are removed. All Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply. This is for Small Business Reserves only. Small Business Reserve Designation Yes 1. The work to be accomplished under this contract is located at The Potomac Center, 1380 Marshall St. Hagerstown, Maryland 21740. It consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary and incidentals to the completion of the work described therein. 2. Base Bid: Remove and replace two (2) washing machines with 6" elevated steel bases and six (6) clothes dryers in kind, with all necessary electrical, water, drainage, and venting connections required with two (2) years of preventative maintenance (P/M) services. The P/M contract will start after the installation has been accepted and in operation by the Using Agency. 3. All work shall be completed within one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days from the date designated by the notice to proceed. Liquidated damages are $250 per calendar day.
