Site work for a civil project in Hamilton, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Upgrades to the existing Rockcliffe (DC015) wastewater pumping station (WWPS). Scope consists of but is not limited to the following: Installation of safety gratings underneath pump hatch 1, 2, 3 and 4 including forcemain valve chamber; Installation of exit signs inside the station building; Rehabilitation of sewage lift pump No. 1, 2 and 3; Demolition and replacement of sewage lift pump No. 1, 2 and 3 piping; Development of temporary pump station bypass; Installation of removable handrails; Replace aluminum ladders; guardrail; and gratings; Installation of discharge flow meter; Removal of existing wet well fan and installation of new supply fan; Installation of manual control switch for the fan; Replacement of water service lines inside the wet well; Replacement of existing wet well level transmitters; Installation of station exit and exterior (flood) lightings; Resurface and repaint; and Installation of air condition unit. TIMELINE: Project is in design. Tender and construction timelines are presently unconfirmed. Further update spring 2026.
