The Town of Strathmore is gaining a new commercial development at the corner of Highway 1 and Lakeside Blvd. Through the application process a TIA was submitted and upgrades to the intersection of Lakeside Blvd. and Archie Klaiber Trail/Ridge Road were determined to be required upon the opening of the new commercial development. With this information The Town of Strathmore and Sedulous Engineering Inc. have recently completed the design stage for the intersection of Lakeside Blvd. and Archie Klaiber Trail and is now requesting construction services to carry out the design. Scope of Work Removals Concrete Removals Sidewalk Re-enforced crossings Curb and Gutter Islands Asphalt Removals Maintain and Rewire Existing Streetlighting Circuits as Required Removal of Signs as Specified in Drawings Saw Cutting Removal of Existing Median Line (solid yellow) Removal of Painted Messages (stop bar, arrows, etc.) Removal of Existing Pedestrian Crosswalks Supply and Install of Concrete Surfaces Installation of Concrete Curb & Gutter Installation of Concrete Curb & Gutter Tie-ins Installation of Sidewalk Panels Installation of Wheelchair Ramps Installation of Splitter Island with Semi-Mountable Curb Installation of Concrete Island Wheelchair Ramps Installation of Concrete Island Asphalt repair – Type B (40mm) Supply and Install of Traffic Signals Install of Traffic Signals, Including Concrete Base and Rebar Installation and Programming of Traffic Signal Controller Stub conduit at southeast Street Light Base location.
