Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Ochlocknee, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The Town of OCHLOCKNEE is requesting sealed bids for the construction of a water treatment building (24' x 14'8" single story, CMU walls, concrete floor, and metal roof). Questions regarding the project will be accepted in writing only to the Town of OCHLOCKNEE, Mayor Ronnie Searcy at erec1234@windstream.net, before 12:00 PM [EST] on March 17, 2023. Responses will be posted by addenda no later than 4:00 PM [EST] on March 20, 2023. Bids must be received by 2:00 PM [EST] on Wednesday March 22, 2023 and may be delivered to the City Clerk's Office, 1044 E Rail Road, OCHLOCKNEE, GA 31773. Bids shall be clearly marked and sealed, including the appropriate title and license number. Late bids will not be considered nor returned. Work is as specified in the Bid Document and is to be done in accordance with current IBC and Thomas County codes. Bidders are required to carefully examine the specifications contained in the bid document. Bids may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by O.C.G.A. 13-10-22. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to award a contract in the best interest of the City, and to waive any technicalities and informalities. Completion 45 calendar days The scope of work for this project shall consist of constructing a concrete masonry unit (CMU) building with associated floor drains, electrical outlets, lights, fans, and heater. The concrete pad forthe vertical inline pumps is also within the scope of work. Another contractor will install the pumps, associated pipes, and electrical panels (interior and external). All work will be done in accordance with the latest International Building Code (IBC) and Thomas County, GA codes.
