Cedar Bridge Manor Park Improvements 3. WORK SITES: Cedar Bridge Manor Park 4. WORK DESCRIPTION: The project generally consists of the reconstruction of an existing park, including the construction of a half basketball court, age specific playground improvements, fitness components, shoreline and beach stabilization improvements, walkway improvements, fencing, landscaping, and other site improvements to the existing park. 8. PRE-BID MEETING: None 9. BID GUARANTEE: Bid Guarantee is required in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount indicated in the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS: Bidders are required to comply with all applicable Laws and Regulations including the N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action) P.L. 1999, C.238 (Public Works Contractor Registration), P.L. 1963, C.150 (Prevailing Wages), and P.L. 2004, C.57 P.L. 2009 C.315 (New Jersey Business Registration Requirements). 14. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: During the performance of this contract the Contractor agrees to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27), all require!ments of the State of New Jersey Worker Health and Safety Act (N.J.A.C. 12:110 et seq.) as amended and the United States Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) (29 CFR 1910), as amended with regard to worker and jobsite safety. 15. OWNER'S RIGHTS: The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The Township reserves the right to award this contract based on available funds. 16. BID WITHDRAWAL: The Bidder shall comply with the statutory requirements set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3 regarding bid withdrawal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a surety company bond in the full amount of the contract price indemnifying the Township of Brick, New Jersey, for all proceed!ings, suits or actions of any kind of description and conditional for the faithful perform!ance of the work. 17. REJECTION OF BIDS: Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any immaterial defect or informality in any Bid, if deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
