Ripp Drive and Lodi Springfield Road Storm Structure Replacement Water Resources (River/Stream), Culverts, Waterways, Stormwater Channels, Construction, Design, Street/Roadway Reconstruction , Paving (Highway, Road or Street), Bridge (Replacement or Rehabilitation), Traffic Control Devices (Signals, Signing, etc.), Paving (Asphalt or Concrete) Description: The work for which bids are asked includes the following: A. The work includes two project locations. 1. Ripp Drive and is 235 LF of town road reconstruction including 54 LF of 17 15'- 10" x 3'-6" aluminum box culvert with headwall and wingwalls. 2. Lodi Springfield Road is 205 LF of town road reconstruction including 63 19 LF of 14'- x 8'-7" aluminum pipe arch culvert with headwall and wingwalls. B. Work for the projects also includes the following: clearing and grubbing, sawcut 21 asphalt, removing asphalt surface, removing existing structure, structure backfill, 22 base aggregate, asphalt pavement, traffic control, medium riprap, clear stone, 23 geotextile fabric, salvaged topsoil and restoration. Substantial Completion: Substantial Completion shall be completed 25 working days from the start of each individual project started. Final Completion: Each project shall be completed by within 5 working days of their specific substantial completion date. Additional Description: No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. 1230 South Boulevard, Baraboo, WI 53913The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages.
