**As of April 21,2023, project was awarded to Insituform - Sammamish, awarded amount is $1,376,536.42.** The WORK must be completed within 135 calendar days of the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed is anticipated to be issued on or around May 3, 2023 The WORK includes rehabilitating sanitary and storm sewer pipes by cure-in-place pipe (CIPP) methods AND the cleaning and video inspection of sanitary and storm sewer pipes in support of future lining projects. SCHEDULE A: The WORK to be completed includes: - The video inspection and cleaning of approximately 13,300 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe. AND - Rehabilitating approximately 8,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe using heat-cured or ultra-violet (UV) CIPP methods, reinstating side sewers and removing protruding laterals. Heat-cured CIPP lining methods shall only use styrene-free resin. SCHEDULE B: The WORK to be completed includes: - The video inspection and cleaning of approximately 3,500 linear feet of storm sewer pipe AND - Rehabilitating approximately 3,500 linear feet of storm sewer pipe using the heat-cured or UV CIPP method and reinstating side sewers and removing protruding laterals. Heat-cured CIPP lining methods shall only use styrene-free resin. The Work for both schedules also includes installing flow diversion and temporary bypass pumping, temporary traffic control, and all other work as identified in the Contract Documents. A portion of the work must be performed at night since the project route is along several principal arterials. ESTIMATE: $1,050,000 - $1,600,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. The failure to furnish a bid deposit of a minimum of 5 percent shall make the bid nonresponsive and shall cause the bid to be rejected by the Contracting Agency. The successful bidder will also be required to provide a Performance Bond for 100 percent of the Contract Price. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Bremerton.
