Purchase and install one modular communication booth. All Questions shall be directed to Mark Kinder, mkinder@fcva.us in writing (email is prefered ) no later than 2.00 PM on 03/13/2023 The Northwestern Regional Authority owns and operates an 855-bed Regional Adult Detention Center on a 33-acre campus at 141 Fort Collier Road. Winchester. VA. The average daily inmate population for FY22 was 598 inmate Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center is seeking quotes for the purchase and installation of one modular communication booth to be installed in the secure area ofthe Jail. The purpose ofthis booth is to better accommodate the needs of our lawyer and inmate visits The booth should be of double occupancy accommodation. The space that the booth is to be placed is unlimited, however, it must not be deeper than 48". The booth must have its own lockable entry' door and transparent wall for unrestricted viewing from the outside Below are a list ofrequirements; additional options/enhancements ean be proposed: Keyed entry door locking lever. o Impact resistant monitor enclosure. o Clear impact resistant viewing windows for outside viewing. o Motion sensor internal lighting. o ADA compatible. o Chemical fire suppression system and fire-retardant acoustics. o Electrical "plug in" power and data hook ups. o Power, data ports, and light covers on the inside of booth must be securable in design. o Secured table and 2 stools to allow face to face interaction.
