Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of May 3, 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. The scope of work generally consists of approximately 2,000 linear feet of aggregate trail, and stormwater trench, including excavation, stabilization and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction including one additional alternative for additional length of trail and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Oakmont to guarantee the bidders entrance into the contract if given the award. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania u8220 Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3u8221 ; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.
