Closing Time: 1:00 PM (NT) The Town of Torbay ("the Town") is inviting Tenders for Building Cleaning Services. Bidders must provide a quote by email or regular mail for the service which will meet or exceed the minimum specifications and requirements detailed in this invitation for Tender. All Bidders shall provide the Town with a Letter of Good Standing from Workplace NL along with appropriate Insurance. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure the quoted service meets the specifications listed herein, and to inform the Town of any deficiencies in the required specifications. Under this contract, the Bidder shall be held responsible for the performance, reliability and satisfactory operational functioning of the services provided. The Bidder shall maintain qualified personnel, that are boned to work in municipal areas. No additional costs outside of what is included in the Schedule of Prices will be accepted by the Town. The Town of Torbay reserves the right to award this Tender in the best interest of the Town. All factors shall be considered in evaluating each Tender submission. Sealed, clearly marked Tenders should be dropped off in person or emailed to the Town of Torbay and will be received up to the time and date as per Tender call. Bid submissions will be opened immediately following the tender closing time. Details can be forwarded upon request to those proponents who have submitted a Tender Bid. Electronic submissions containing the Tender are to be emailed to Kim Osmond, A/R and Procurement, by email at kosmond@torbay.ca, with the subject line "RFP No: 2023-01-003 Building Cleaning Services". a. Before submitting a Tender, Bidders shall carefully examine the Tender Documents and fully inform themselves of the existing conditions and limitations. No subsequent allowance under the Tender Documents will be considered for any Bidder who has failed to become familiar with all aspects of the Work. b. The Town will not defray any expenses incurred by the Bidders in the preparation and submission of their Tenders. c. The submitted Tender shall be valid for a period of 60 calendar days. The Town of Torbay reserves the right to award this Tender in the best interest of the Town. All factors shall be considered in evaluating each Tender submission.
