Construction contract 2022-4008 is for the widening of highway platform, from two lanes to four lanes, between the intersections of Highway 7, Angeline Street and Highway 7, Lindsay St. S. The intersections at each location will also be improved through widening and merge lane reconstruction. Following construction, the traffic congestion will be reduced between the two intersections and the highway platform width will match the full width of the Scugog River bridge. It is estimated that the contract administration services will be required for one full season (2023) and the months of May, June, July of 2024. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.raqsesp.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
