Playgrounds Equipment Replacement in accordance with the request for proposal The City of Stockton is looking to install four replacement playgrounds at several city parks: Brooking Park, Panella Park, Sandman Park, and Weber Park. Question Deadline 03/13/2023 at 4:30 PM PT Any question or request for clarification shall be submitted in writing to: susan.christy@stocktonca.gov Each proposal shall be submitted as one packet and shall be accompanied by the Non-Collusion Declaration and all of the required documents and information. The pricing shall be submitted under separate, sealed envelope. Each proposer shall be licensed in accordance with applicable State laws. The City of Stockton encourages local Stockton firms to propose on this project and the City encourages proposers to use local Stockton firms as subconsultants. Accordingly, the Local Business Preference Ordinance applies to this project. Proposers are hereby notified that the successful proposer and any subconsultant under them shall pay prevailing wage rates in accordance with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations. A contract will be awarded to proposer who best meets the needs of the City; provided, however, that the City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to re-advertise for proposals or to provide for the work to be done by the City of Stockton. The successful proposer shall be required to furnish a Labor and Material Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond, each in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Said bonds shall be furnished by a company authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California. On official forms furnished by City, said bonds shall be executed by the surety and contractor before or concurrently with the signing of the contract.
