Site work for a water / sewer project in Cambridge, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The objective of this work includes CCTV inspection and lining of sanitary sewer laterals with cured-in-place liners and various spot repairs at various locations within the City of Cambridge. The successful bidder will be responsible for rehabilitating existing sanitary sewer lateral service connections from the property line to the mainline, unless specified elsewhere. The City will pay the costs of lining the lateral from the property line to the sewer main as part of this contract. The City has performed an initial inspection of the listed sanitary sewer service connections. The successful bidder will be responsible for their own CCTV inspection of the sanitary sewer lateral to determine if the lateral is a candidate for rehabilitation, then preparation of the lateral for lining, and lining of the lateral. From the City inspection reports, these laterals are experiencing a root infiltration problem. These inspection reports are available for viewing upon request. Spot repairs in the mainline and manholes to seal areas of infiltration shall be repaired in order of priority determined by the Project Engineer. The expected start date for this project is April 2023, with an anticipated completion date of December 2023.
