The Bedford Regional Water Authority (BRWA) is seeking Bids from professional lawn care services for the maintenance of multiple sites located throughout Bedford County. The following services shall be performed on an as needed basis: Locations are to be neatly mowed as specified by the Director of Operations or the Maintenance Manager. Entrances, walkways, and paved areas are to be clean of debris upon completion of job. Areas around structures, signs, trees, mulched areas, fences, and embankments are to be trimmed at least monthly. Weeds and grass along the fence line and in the gravel areas are to be sprayed as needed. Mowing frequencies may be increased or decreased as determined by the Director of Operations or the Maintenance Manager. Mowing locations may be added or deleted as determined necessary by the Director of Operations or the Maintenance Manager. The BRWA reserves the right to perform any or all of the Mowing and Grounds Keeping services utilizing BRWA staff. The selection of one mowing and grounds keeping service will be determined by qualifications and pricing provided. Award of Contract: 2:00 pm - Monday, March 27, 2023 The BRWAwill enter into a one-year contract with the mowing and grounds keeping service, commencing on April 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2023. The contract may be extended, at the BRWA's discretion, for up to two possible one year renewals; the maximum possible contract term would be (3) consecutive years. The BRWA reserves the right to terminate this agreement with thirty (30) days written notice to the mowing service provider.
