A timeline for award has not yet been established.** This Request for Proposals is for the design, engineering and project management of the Patrick Tierney Park portion of the project, including coordination with both the Marina Infrastructure Redevelopment and Breakwater Repair portions of the project. The design of the Marina Infrastructure Redevelopment is currently underway through a separate engagement with the MDNR and the Breakwater Repair project is being run directly by the USACE.
Proposals should encompass the following scope of work:
Formation of stakeholder committee including representatives from the Village and MDNR and the establish of regular project meetings.
Design and civil engineering for the park portions of the Plan, including reconfiguration of Huron Avenue, parking areas and related drive lanes, connection points to Lake, Boynton and Simons Streets, improvements to the stormwater management system, as well as hardscaping and landscaping
Design of new pavilion and bathroom structures
Design of the waterfront boardwalk connection North and South Beaches
Management of the bidding and construction process
Management of the permitting process
Management of the construction and fabrication contracts through completion
The Village of Lexington, through its Downtown Development Authority, invites multi-disciplinary teams to submit proposals to provide professional design, engineering and project management services for a portion of the Lexington Harbor Redevelopment Project. This Request for Proposals is for the design, engineering and project management of the Patrick Tierney Park portion of the project, including coordination with both the Marina Infrastructure Redevelopment and Breakwater Repair portions of the project.
