The Town of Morinville is inviting proposals from qualified contractors for the 2023 Neighbourhood Renewal Program. The project consists of underground deep utility Work and improvements to concrete, trail, and road infrastructure and is to be completed in 2023. Work under this contract consists of, but not limited to the following: Site preparation and management, including pedestrian and vehicular traffic control measures and delineation of work zones. Coordination of work with shallow utility companies and others, as necessary. Saw cutting and removal and disposal of existing concrete surface materials offsite. Removal and disposal of existing soft surfacing materials. Removal, disposal, and replacement of storm sewer catch basins (incl. frames and grates). Adjustments of sanitary sewer frames and covers, as necessary. Reconstruction of concrete works, including curb and gutter, monolithic sidewalk, swales, and driveway tie-ins. Asphalt surface milling of existing roadways (incl. profiling and hauling millings to the Towns Public Works yard) and asphalt surface paving (including asphalt pre-fill). Placement of road structure, including stabilized subgrade, gravel base course, soil cement, concrete base, and ACP for reconstruction (to be confirmed by Geotechnical Engineer). Road base repair (PROVISIONAL) Supply and placement of topsoil and sod in disturbed areas. Rehabilitation of impacted landscaping features.
