The work will include approximately 5,460 SY of 2.5-inch depth milling and 860 tons of Superpave wearing course, and other related road work. Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid, and that employees are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Wages paid employees of the successful bidder shall be subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Board of Supervisors of Perkiomen Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or portions thereof. Perkiomen Township also reserves the right to overlook or waive a bid defect, irregularity, deficiency or nonconformance provided that: (1) same is patently insignificant or technical; (2) the best interests of the Township would be advanced by the waiver; (3) the waiver would not give an unfair advantage to one bidder over another; and, (4) the waiver would not violate Section 3102 of the Second Class Township Code, 53 P.S. 68102, et seq.
