Renovation of a municipal facility in Port Moody, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The following lists the main objectives of the project: Replace 31 geothermal heat pumps in the HVAC system. Inspect the supply water strainers upstream of the heat pumps. Clean or replace as required. The scope of the project includes the following: Remove and dispose of existing geothermal heat pumps HP-M01 to HP-M04, HP-M08 to HPM15, HP-S01, HP-S02, HP-S04 to HP-S09, HP-S14, HP-T02, HP-T03, HP-T05, HP-T08, HPT11 to HP-T15, HP-T17 (31 heat pumps in total). The HP-MXX pumps are located on the ground floor, the HP-SXX pumps on the second floor and the HP-TXX pumps on the third floor. All heat pumps operate on 208V/3ph/60Hz power. Supply and install replacement heat pumps with same manufacturer and model (see Schedule E for details). Include hose kit, sheet metal transition, piping fittings etc. as required. Disconnect and reconnect existing sheet metal, electrical and condensate piping. If proponent would like to recommend another manufacturer and model of heat pumps due to cost, life expectancy, ease of maintenance or other reasons, please include it as an option. Proponent to ensure the overall dimensions will fit within existing footprint and include other necessary adjustments e.g. hose kit, sheet metal transition, pipe fittings. All pumps to have basic controls supplied on the unit by the manufacturer and facilitate DDC controls in the future. Inspect the supply water strainers upstream of the heat pumps. Clean or replace as required. Test and commission above heat pumps. Proponent is requested to attend the site visit to gain understanding of accessibility and space constraints as related to each heat pump. Most of the heat pumps are located above the false ceiling. Proponent is responsible for providing their own tools and equipment, including ladder, genie lift, or other hoisting, rigging and place equipment, for the prescribed work.
