Renovation of a water / sewer project in Chestertown, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of April 25, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Work consists of furnishing and installing a new mechanical influent screen at the existing Tolchester WWTP on an elevated aluminum screen support structure. Work also includes associated mechanical piping, valves, electrical modifications, concrete work, aluminum welding and fabrication, and demolition work associated with the removal of the existing screen and associated support structure. Contractors having questions concerning the bid should submit them in writing via email to the Issuing Office at mhall@gmbnet.com no later than 2:00 PM , on March 30, 2023 . Questions shall include the project name (TOLCHESTER WWTP - INFLUENT SCREEN REPLACEMENT) in the subject heading. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
