The Franklin County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in constructing, The project consists of the repair of Bridge No. 494035.The scope of work includes the construction of new headwalls, lining of the existing culvert pipe, guardrail installation and miscellaneous asphalt work. Completion date for this project will be 120 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $750.00 per day. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Franklin County. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening.
