Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in West Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
All questions must be submitted in writing and emailed to Rick.hyman@westhartfordct.gov, at least seven calendar days prior to the date established for the opening bids. Do not call the Engineer/Architect, Project Manager or Purchasing office with questions. The first contract year is from the date of contract signing to December 31, 2023. The second contract year is from January 1,2024 to December 31,2024. The third contract year is from January 1,2025 to December 31,2025. In addition to the roadways listed above, the Town also plans to perform a minor two-foot widening along east side of North Main Street from the southern intersection of Loomis Drive to Fern Street. The total length ofthe project is approximately 2,000 feet. The scope of work includes sawcutting and removal of the existing pavement in the shoulder, removing and resetting and/or installing new granite curb, replacing concrete driveway aprons, relocating catch basin structures, placing process aggregate base, base preparation, and paving the new five foot wide shoulder/bike lane. This work would be measured and paid using the standard bid items and unit prices. Utility relocation work (hydrants, utility poles, etc.) would be performed by others.
