Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in McMurray, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of April 27 the project was awarded to Mele & Mele & Sons Inc for $1,697,458.75 Resurfacing of approximately 71,745 square yards on various roads throughout the Township. The base bid includes approximately 48,850 square yards of rotomilling and profiling; 890 tons of scratch / leveling course; 5,920 tons of Superpave WMA 19.0 mm Binder Course; 5,940 tons of Superpave WMA 9.5 mm Fine Grade Wearing Course; 2,745 square yards of paving fabric; 3,000 square yards of base repairs; replacement of 20 feet of 15" SLCPP storm sewers; 120 feet of underdrain; repair/ rebuild/ replacement of 86 inlets; 6 ADA ramp upgrades; traffic control; linestriping; lawn restoration; and other items incidental to the project. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) is required. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages will be paid on this project. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by an executed Anti-Collusion Affidavit on the PennDOT form provided. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing at least seven days prior to bid opening
