Renovation of a municipal facility in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The San Antonio Botanical Garden is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for renovations to the Lucile Halsell Conservatory. The project includes removal and replacement of the exterior laminated glass at five "green house" structures, exterior repair and waterproofing procedures throughout the Conservatory, and mechanical and electrical work (primarily removal and replacement of ductwork) within one of the five structures. Bidders for this project are required to be specifically qualified to perform the glass replacement work, the exterior restoration and waterproofing work, and the mechanical and electrical work. Bidders are required to submit a Contractor's Qualification Statement, and are required to be found qualified in the opinion of the Owner in order to be awarded a Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis and shall be submitted on the Bid Form included in the Project Manual. A Contractor's Qualifications Statement and other documents noted within the Instructions to Bidders shall be submitted with the Bid Form
